Simon is the current Chairperson of the SLC having previously held the position from 2012 to 2018. Simon is a Director and Head of Legal Practice for DC Law and JS Law and Director of Premier Property Lawyers and Advantage Property Lawyers (all form part of the Simplify Group). Simon has extensive experience working in the profession having worked for large and small firms. Simon established Secure Legal Solutions in 2010, which merged with DC Law in January 2013. Simon was a member of the recent MOJ working group which published its report on the Electronic Execution of Documents. He also sits on the Land Registry Advisory Council, Legal Ombudsman Challenge and Advisory Board and is a member of the Home Buying and Selling Group and the Digital Property Market Steering Group. In his spare time Simon plays rugby and is also President of Northampton Outlaws Rugby Club.
