Emma Flood LLB, DPLP
Emma has worked on digital, tech, and creative projects for law firms and legal businesses for over a decade. She holds a First Class honours LLB from the University of Glasgow and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Despite having a passion for the law, Emma found her skills were better suited to helping law firms and legal organisations achieve their marketing, technology, and creative project goals. In 2019, Emma helped to found Hey Legal - an award-winning CPD and legal news platform and worked with the Law Society of Scotland to create ‘Shaping Your Success’ an ongoing free CPD series. Emma is currently a Law Society of Scotland CPD education partner, offering a course on ‘Winning Business Online’ for lawyers. She has also recently been appointed to the board of trustees for Moray Rape Crisis, where she will offer her digital marketing and content creation experience to help the charity expand its reach. Emma featured in ‘100 Voices for 100 years’ as well as the book 'In Her Words' - a unique snapshot of women in the legal profession from around the world.
At LEX Reception, Emma is passionate about understanding how our tools and services can help customers achieve their business and personal goals. Drawing on years of law firm consultancy expertise, she steers the LEX voice, story and resources to provide as much value as possible for customers.
