Since 26 October 2024 all employers have been legally obliged to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace – that includes harassment by other employees and by third parties. The updated Equality Act is clear: you have to be proactive. You can’t simply wait for a complaint and then start making changes.

If you haven’t already taken ‘reasonable steps’ you need to ACT NOW.

And, of course, the SRA Codes of Conduct impose similar duties on firms and solicitors.
This interactive session uses scenarios to explore the steps you need to take to protect yourself and your business.

Key Takeaways:
• What is the new duty to prevent sexual harassment?
• What ‘reasonable steps’ should you be taking NOW?
• What could happen if you don’t act?
