Stephen has responsibility for the CLC’s strategy planning, media and government relations, and communications with the regulated community as well as licensing and complaints handling.
Stephen has a background in the civil service and political campaigning as well as business strategy in the private sector. More recently Stephen was Director of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility at the Law Society where he tripled media coverage of the organisation.
Remaking the rule book: changes to the CLC’s specialist regulation of property law
This seminar will look at recent and coming changes to the CLC’s rule book. It will provide useful insight into the CLC’s approach to regulation and proposals for changes in relation to the Accounts Code, Continuing Professional Development and more. We will also reflect on the impact of changes to the Professional Indemnity Insurance arrangements. We will also update on work to implement new requirements on price transparency and consumer feedback flowing from the 2016 report by the Competition and Markets Authority.
